2022 Chevrolet Corvette

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette showcases a bold two-door body style that really stands out on the road and the racetrack. It builds off the redesign that occurred a few years ago, when Chevrolet debuted the mid-engine body style. You can choose from two body styles, which are coupe and convertible. The convertible body style comes with a soft top as standard, while a hardtop is available as an option. The Corvette is available in three main trim levels, which are 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT. Exterior equipment on the base 1LT model includes LED headlights, keyless entry and ignition, 19-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators, and light-tinted glass. The mid-level 2LT tacks on upgraded power-folding side mirrors with auto-dimming functionality on the driver's side. Optional upgrades include high-performance tires, aerodynamic enhancements, upgraded brakes, exclusive graphics and paint, and a taller rear wing.

All three trim levels of the 2022 Corvette come with the same 6.2-liter V-8 engine that pumps out 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. It works with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that powers the rear wheels. Rear-wheel-drive is the only configuration offered on both body styles.

The Corvette delivers incredible driving performance, boasting quick acceleration and fantastic handling. Its braking performance is excellent as well, putting it near the top of the segment. In speed testing, the top trim level zoomed from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds. Adding the optional Z51 Performance package further boosts the driving performance. This package bundles upgraded brakes, high-performance tires, and a performance-tuned exhaust and suspension. It also boasts an upgraded stability control system and an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential.

Climb into the cabin of the 2022 Corvette to find unique design elements and seating for two. Even the base trim includes leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The cabin also features a premium Bose audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, an 8-inch touch screen, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. Moving up to the 2LT adds a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, and an upgraded sound system. This trim level also features wireless device charging and a system that records video and information in high-performance driving situations. At the top of the list, the 3LT comes with additional leather enhancements, premium upholstery, and sporty bucket seats.

All trim levels of the Corvette come well-equipped with high-end safety features. These include rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, anti-lock brakes, and stability and traction control. The sports car also features air bags within the cabin to protect the driver and front passenger if involved in a collision. The mid-level trim tacks on a head-up display, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a digital rearview mirror. With the 2LT trim, you also get a front-view parking camera.
